On the above video Photoshop senior product manager Bryan O’Neil Hughes takes a look at two simple, yet extremely useful ways of converting a color image into black and white using Photoshop.
The first way uses Photoshop adjustment panel while the second one uses a similar technique but in Camera RAW (interestingly Hughes choose to edit a JPEG image in Camera RAW in order to emphasize that you don’t have to use RAW to work in Camera RAW and have the benefit of using its easy and convenient slider interface).
We have covered many other techniques for converting color images to Black and white as well as retouching B&W images in Photoshop – you can find all of the on our Black and White section here on LensVid.
