Easily Add a Sunset look to You Image in Photoshop

On this  video tutorial photographer Glyn Dewis shows how you can very quickly add a sunset look to an image in Photoshop.

This video is really simple and in it Dewis shows how to add a realistic sunset to your pictures using just 3 layers.

We start by adding an elliptical marque tool and draw a circle and add a hue-saturation and colorize it (in yellow) and change the father of the circle to make it blend more.

Now we have this shape in more or less the correct color – we can change the location and size of it easily and we can also change the blend mode of this layer into screen.

We now need to add a second mask for creating some reflections. We do this similar to before but in this case we shall change the blend option to color dodge which gives a very lovely look which really fits a sunset.

The final layer is a Gaussian blur layer that Dewis added and blended using the overlay blend mode we get a completely different image (you might want to tone this down a bit by reducing the fill).
