How to Replace the Sky in Photoshop

On this video tutorial by Aaron Nace from Phlearn we will demonstrate how to replace the sky in an image using Photoshop.

Nace uses the magic wand tool in Photoshop to select the existing sky and than replace them with a different image with a better looking skies using a layer mask. The most important part will be to correct the tone and colors of the new skies so that they will match our image and not look as if they were “copy-pasted” into the image.

This is not the first time we look at combining images in the past we already covered: “Tips for Opening and Combining Images into Layers in Photoshop” by Pye from slrlounge which can help you learn more on the subject.
