On this video Photoshop product manager Bryan O’Neil Hughes takes a look at how to effectively remove noise using Photoshop.
There are typically two types of noise in an image – color noise and luminance noise. In the video Hughes demonstrates how to take care of both these types of noise using Camera RAW. The next step Hughes is looking at is the size of the image and the sharpening and both of those can help us fight noise in the image.
The most interesting tip at the end of the video might be a bit surprising coming from Adobe, but Hughes explain that using the filter>noise>reduce noise is actually not the best option the eliminate noise.
