The Best Way to Watermark Your Images in Photoshop

On this video Aaron Nace from Phlearn shows how to create and add watermarks using photoshop and how to best match it to your image.

The main tip Nace gives in this video besides the actual creation of the custom brush for the logo is making your watermark in a color which already exist in your specific image (this is super simple when you are using a custom brush). The advantage here over using just a regular white or black color watermark is that this actually blends better with each of your images and can look pretty cool – so don’t be boring!

We have looked at different ways to create a watermark in both Photoshop and Lightroom (some more in depth than this video) in the past including “Creating Watermarks in Lightroom 5” by Mark Wallace, a different look at the same thing on “How to Add a Watermark in Lightroom 5” with Howard Pinsky and “Creating a Watermark in Photoshop – A Quick Tutorial” by Jen Swedhin.

You can find many more Photoshop video tutorials on LensVid’s Photoshop section (and you can find a lot more Phlearn videos on our special Phlearn subsection).
