How To Use Virtual Copies in Lightroom to Create Multiple Versions of your Photos

On this video tutorial, photographer Terry White show how to create different versions of the same image while keeping the original intact easily.

White start this video by creating 4 different versions of the same image. The idea of this video and this entire way of working is to be able to play around with images in a non-destructive way and until you save those new versions any of the images will not take up space on your computer.

White explains what will happen once you change the original image as well as the basic difference between working with Lightroom (non-destructive in nature) and working with Photoshop (destructive).

In the past we also had  Julieanne Kost‘s video with “Tips for Using Lightroom 5 On Location” which discussed some of the same aspects which is also worth watching.
