Platon: Portraits of Power

This episode of the series Capture has photographer Mark Seliger talking with the actor (and apparently serious hobbyist photographer) Dylan McDermott and professional photographer Platon.

In the interview, Platon, speaks about his experience shooing popular names such as Bill Clinton, Willie Nelson, and Gadaffi. McDermott also talks about his photography and his attitude towards photography.

You can find Platon’s amazing “Portraits of Power” project  (shooting some of the world’s leaders in the U.N.) on the New Yorker website (make sure to listen to the short sound bits accompanying each image).
