Tips for Shooting Through Windows

On this video photographer Gavin Hoey  takes a look at a problem many of us have faced in the past – fighting reflections when shooting through a window.

Some of the tips a pretty straightforward like not using the built in flash (which will typically not help you anyway since you are typically shooting distant objects), other tips include turning off the lights in the room if possible and covering any reflective surface. A polarizing filter might also be a good idea.
