NAB 2017 is almost here and today LaCie announced a new version of its RAID storage dock, and this one has full Thunderbolt 3 support. The LaCie 2big Dock comes with up to 20TB of storage (there are also 12TB, 16TB options) and a blazing fast 440MB/s transfer speed.
But the LaCie 2big Dock is not just about the RAID and storage and also has ample connectivity options. Besides the two Thunderbolt 3 ports it also comes with a USB 3 (in the front) and USB 3.1 (in the rear), a DisplayPort, and SD and CF card slots.
The release date is set for this summer, and so far no pricing was announced (we are hoping to take a closer look at this Dock/Drive as soon as it becomes available.
