LensVid Exclusive: A Look at the Lastolite Products – Photokina 2016

During Photokina 2016 we had a chance to visit the Lastolite booth and check out some of the lighting accessories they were showing.

Next to the Manfrotto and Gitzo booths (we will come back to both soon) we had a chance to check out the Lastolite booth (all three companies are part of the same group). The company is manufacture of backgrounds and lighting control equipment.

In the booth we saw a larger collection of fordable small and large (as well as super large) backgrounds in different colors and with different prints.

One of the main new products Lastolite was showing was the EzyBounce Card which helps you bounce light from your flash more accurately (it sells for around $30 if you were wondering).

The last thing we really liked was the Skylite – which is a collapsible but rigid aluminium frame for either a diffuser or reflector that is collapsible and as you can see from the video – even the mid size is super light (it comes in different sizes which sells from close to $50 and upwards depending on the type and size).

This video is just one of the first among over 20 videos and interviews that we took during the show (many more to come in the next days and weeks) and you can find them on our special channel on Youtube and on this link on LensVid.

Full disclosure: Manfrotto was LensVid’s sponsors for Photokina 2016.
