Samsung Introduced the Portable SSD T5

Samsung has just introduced a new compact ultra-fast solid-state-drive named the Samsung Portable SSD T5. The new version comes in several capacities up to 2TB up to 540MB/s transfer speeds fast enough editing raw 4K footage and other large files.

The new T5 is based on Samsung’s own 64-layer V-NAND technology which allows the company to squeeze that much storage and speed into the 3 x 2.3 x 0.4-inches (74 x 57.3 x 10.5mm) sized unit which weighs only 51 grams (1.8 ounces).

the SSD uses a shock-resistant internal frame capable of handling drops from heights of 6.6ft (2m). It comes in either Alluring Blue, which comes in 250GB and 500GB capacities, and Deep Black, which comes in 1TB and 2TB capacities and AES 256-bit hardware encryption.
