Earlier today Tamron announced 4 new E-mount lenses with full-frame coverage, three of which are wide-angle prime lenses and the forth is a zoom-telephoto lens. All lenses are designed to be compact and affordable. In the video above Adam from Digital Goja talks about the three new primes and some of their features.
The first three are 20mm, 24mm, and 35mm f/2.8 lenses with a 1:2 magnification ratio (so not full fledge macro lenses but pretty close) and they have very close focus distances as well (11-15cm), they all have 67mm filter threads, very lightweight (around 220g or around 7oz) and are water and dust resistant.
All three lenses have a new silent and fast AF motor with support for the latest generation of Sony AF systems including eye AF.

As for pricing, all three lenses will be very affordable at $350 and the 24mm and 35mm will be available in mid-November 2019 and the 20mm will be available in January 2020.
The fourth lens that was only partially announced today is the Tamron 70-180mm F2.8 Di III VXD. This zoom telephoto lens will compete directly with Sony’s own 70-200mm lenses (both the f/2.8 and f/4). What is interesting about this lens is its size and weight which are significantly lower than the Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 and even smaller than the 70-200mm f/4 which is very impressive, in fact, it is about the size and weight of a Nikon 70-300mm lens).
The 70-180mm F2.8 Di III VXD is only 15cm (5.9″) long and about 815g (27oz) with 67mm filter lens and 85cm min focus distance. It also has a completely new Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive AF motor which is said to be fast and silent.

At the moment no exact release date was announced (only “spring 2020”) and no pricing as well for this lens.
