Location, location, locations – this is true for real estate but in some cases it can also be true for photography. On this Behind the scenes video, young swiss fashion photographer takes his (freezing) model to one of the most beautiful places on the planet – the Rohne-Glacier in the Swiss alps.
The Rhône Glacier is the largest glacier in the Urner Alps located over 3000 meters (close to 10,000 feet) above sea level in the far eastern end of the Swiss canton of Valais. This hard to reach location is the place where photographer Fabio Gloor decided to do his fashion shoot with bronolor lights.
Shooting in these conditions and working with a half dressed model is no picnic but its worth it – even just in order to see the magnificent location with the pale blue water and the frozen mountains.
