Stevin Tuchiwsky is an example of how a non-professional with the right combination of skill, gear and a load of ambition can get photographic results which don’t fall short of those of many long-time professional nature photographers.
Tuchiwsky personal story is that of early struggle (as a kid he fought and won a battle against life-threatening cancer to become a professional athlete outdoors) but the outdoor part was always a big part of his life which is essential to his passion of outdoor and nature photography in the beautiful raw landscapes of Canada.
Despite working as a civil engineer, Tuchiwsky finds enough free time to pursue his passion for photography and on this Adorama video you can see some of his magnificent works as well as Tuchiwsky in action “in the wild”.
