Dורןמע IBC 2024 Hollyland showcased a long list of new and recently released products and an interesting prototype including the Solidcom C1 Pro Roaming Hub, Solidcom SE, Cosmo C2, Pyro family, and VenusLiv V2.
Venus LIV II
Hollyland demonstrated the newly announced Venus LIV II during the show for the first time. This camcorder-style streaming camera looks externally very similar to the original version released about a year ago but has a significantly improved interface with some very interesting app capabilities allowing the unit to connect directly to streaming platforms from the camera (no need for a laptop) at least with supported shopping apps (this camera is marketed towards online stores).
There are also easy and simple ways to add overlays on top of your footage during the live show.
The Venus LIV II is already selling for just under $950.

Pyro Family
Announced earlier in 2024 and showcased in full for the first time in IBC 2024 is the Pyro family of wireless video transmitters.
The family includes 3 different models:
Pyro H – a new type of wireless HDMI transmitter with the same familiar design as the original Mars series but with new wireless technology.
Pyro S – A more advanced SDI+HDMI version with a larger color monitor and improved controls.
Pyro 7 – a 7″ monitor with TX and RX capabilities, a host of on-screen monitoring tools, dual L-type batteries, and more.
All 3 models are based on Hollyland’s self-developed 2.4GHz and 5GHz Auto Dual-band frequency Hopping (ADH) wireless video technology providing enhanced anti-interference capabilities while reducing lag and improving range.

Solidcom SE – Small Team Communications System
Hollyland’s Solidcom SE full-duplex communications system lets small production teams upgrade their communications experience to the next level. the unit has a range of up to 1,100ft (350m), and water and wind resistance. it’s more basic compared to the existing Solidcom C1 Pro in terms of build quality but still feels very comfortable based on our experience.
Solidcom SE sells for just under $230 at the moment for a set of two units.
Cosmo C2
Finally, we were shown a glimpse of the upcoming Cosmo C2. This upcoming advanced wireless video transmission system is an updated version of the Cosmo C1 unit we tested back in 2022 but with several important innovations including a range of 1000 meters and the ability to transmit from two cameras into one receiver for multi-cam work.
No pricing or availability is known about this prototype at this stage.
