Inkee Gold Crow GC30 review (00:29)

We recently posted our review of the Inkee Gold Crow GC30 – a flashlight-style Bi-Color LED with a solid design and build and a single dial control. In our review, we covered what we liked and didn’t like about this light and looked at its performance in a talk style hands-on style.

The Inkee Gold Crow GC30 currently sells for around $200 and the more powerful 60W version sells for around $100.

Our full review can be found here.

Matthews LB2 location baby bracket (07:56)

Matthews recently released a small and potentially useful accessory that consists of a baby pin connected to a metal holder that can be fixed to poles using straps but also flat surfaces using screws or bolts.

You can buy the LB2 on B&H.

New adjustment brush in Photoshop (10:31)

Adobe recently added to Photoshop Beta a new tool called Adjustment Brush which allows users to locally change different parameters in a simpler way compared to the past.

Below you can see the list of the different options currently available to users of the adjustment brush

Photoshop preset for adjustment layers (14:50)

Back in February Adobe added a new simple yet potentially useful feature to Photoshop (into its 25.5.0 update). One of the new features is the ability to create Adjustment Layer Presets as well as export and Import Adjustment layer Presets.

This feature is still not perfect in the sense that there is no way to organize the preset in my preset folder but hopefully, that will come in a future Photoshop update.

You can check out a demo made by Glyn Dewis – here.

iFootage TA3B & TC3B Tripods (15:51)

iFootage recently announced two lightweight travel tripods, the TA3B aluminum tripod, and the TC3B carbon tripod.

The tripod bundle has a total load capacity of 6.6 lb and a leveling bowl mount for balancing. The tripod can go up to 55.1″ or a min of 18.3″ for storage. A safety locking knob and ergonomic buckle add extra stability and security to your rig.

You can purchase both tripods on B&H.

Neewer PS099E V-Mount Battery (17:18)

Neewer joined the growing group of manufacturers with modern mini V-mount batteries (we have just published our review of the CameTV mini V-mounts).

The new battery is a 99Wh or 6800mAh with a single D-tap, 8V, 12V (3A), Type C (65W), and Type A. The USB-C can provide up to USB-C PD of 65W and battery charging via USB-C which can charge the PS099E in about 3 hours according to Neewer.

Pricing for the battery is very competitive at around $130.

Open AI SORA (21:29)

There have been a lot of discussions in the past month or so about the upcoming video AI tool by Open AI called Sora. While we are still a way off from actually using this tool ourselves (it is in a close beta) we could see a lot of examples and how much we have progressed in only a few months.

You can check out some examples on the Open AI Sora website.

You can also check MKBHD’s video and his take on Sora – here.

Strada AI video helper (26:56)

Strada AI is an all-encompassing project management solution for production companies. It’s complicated to number all of the things that this service can do (watch the full video below). We were specifically interested in the capabilities of this system to look at a timeline and recognize objects in the scenes (think about a long drone shot with a few seconds of castle shot and it will recognize and show you this specific part).

Lightcraft Jetset Virtual Production (33:10)

The Jetset Cine uses the Accsoon SeeMo converter to bring live HDMI or HD SDI video from your Cine camera directly into Jetset. By using an app on your iPhone you can do real-time tracking to create virtual environments in real time quickly and easily with minimum complex gear and setup.

You can see a demo recorded by CineD during an expo in the UK of the Jetset technology in real-time.

Pricing for the Jetset Cine is monthly (around £80 per month) and it should be able to work with any camera.

Godox VSM-BO1 Arm (36:10)

We cover new announcements from Godox in almost any LensVid Talk and this time is no exception. This time around we have a small but interesting product by Godox called VSM-BO1 Arm.

There are countless mic arms around but this one seems to be a little more flexible compared to some of the other offerings and seems to even be able to carry a fairly long tube light (we have no exact carrying capacity for the arm though).

You can purchase the Godox VSM-BO1 Arm on here.

Potato Jet interview with Oscar-winning cinematographer Claudio Miranda (38:51)

Youtuber Potato Jet recently conducted a very interesting interview with Oscar-winning cinematographer Claudio Miranda. Besides talking about Miranda’s past including his work as a gaffer on Fight Club and other films, the interview was about his recent project of shooting a film using an iPhone and the challenges that this brings.

You can check out the here between Potato Jet (Gene Nagata) and Oscar-winning cinematographer Claudio Miranda.
