Advance Hair Selection Tutorial – Masking Hair In Photoshop

On this Photoshop tutorial, Jesús Ramirez (from the Photoshop training channel) takes a look at 2 different advanced techniques for masking hair.

Hair is probably one of the hardest things to select or mask in Photoshop. often you can work a long time to take care of every last bit of hair and even than it might not look 100%. The first technique uses channels – this technique will work with most versions of Photoshop. The second technique uses the mask edge which makes the entire process much faster.

  1. This is one of the best and easy way to mask hair. This is my job from complicated BG. This was a quick example so it’s not perfect, but with a bit more time and effort we can bring the good result here.
