Changing Orientation From Portrait to Landscape in Photoshop Change from landscape to portrait in Photoshop and vise-versa

In this quick video tutorial Photoshop senior product manager Bryan O’Neil Hughes takes a look at how to change the orientation of your images in Photoshop.

How many times did you get an image which you wanted in a different orientation (say landscape instead of the portrait or the other way around)? simply changing our canvas size and using a content-aware scale can help us do that but in many cases, elements within the image will stretch and look unnatural.

In order to resolve this issue, Adobe added an option to save a selection around the object you want to protect and when you use content-aware scale – you can tell Photoshop to protect this saved area so it won’t be affected by the change – pretty cool isn’t it? now go and change some images!
