How to Remove Acne in Photoshop in Under 1 min

On this very quick and simple video tutorial Howard Pinsky looks at how to remove blemishes from a face using Photoshop in less than a minute.

Acne is usually considered to be one of those reasons why so many people hate to be photographed and it can easily ruin a shot. Therefore having a quick and easy way to remove them in post can make your subjects more cooperative and willing to play along (this is if they know how easy it is to do in Photoshop and are sure that you will indeed spend this extra time on their picture).

On this video Pinsky start by creating a new layer and than goes to use the spot healing brush – for small spots. For slightly larger ones and ones next to the hair and nose – use the healing brush. For the larger areas use the patch tool – simple right?

If you want a more comprehensive look at how to remove acne – check out Aaron Nace video on the subject. Pinsky himself also did a similar video not too long ago looking at how to remove skin problems using the new Affinity Photo software.
