Creating Cinematic Color Grading for Still Images in Photoshop

Last month Photoshop expert Jesús Ramirez (from the Photoshop training channel) published this interesting video on giving a cinematic look to your images using Photoshop.

Creating a cinematic color grading look is all about complimentary colors (if you do not know what they are watch the video and check our Adobe’s free color website). Typically color grading is a term you hear in the video industry, however in this case Ramirez decides to show you how you can use the same principles to apply it to a still image,

Ramirez goes through the different stages of creating this look by playing with the color channels and working on different areas (and colors) of the image.

Ramirez mentions in the video a previous video he published on “Color Correction” which is also worth checking out.
