How to Create Cool Collage Templates in Photoshop

On this video tutorial by Aaron Nace from Phlearn looks at making different interesting collages and templates of collages using Adobe Photoshop.

The first step (after you choose several images) is to import them togther. Start with a blank document and load your images into Photoshop with File – Scripts – Load Files into Stack and group the images together (Ctrl/Cmd + G).

In the next step we will use the group that we just created and by using the power of layer masks we will create interesting collages. Nace go over all the steps (there are quite a few) but when you get the hang of it – it should not be too complicated.

If you are new to working with layer masks we highly recommend that you watch Nace’s Quick Start Guide to Photoshop (Part 1) which talks about them (and many other important topics).
