How To Remove Power Lines From Your Photos In Photoshop

On this video Photoshop expert Jesús Ramirez (from the Photoshop training channel) gives two methods for removing power lines from photos in Photoshop using the Spot Healing Brush Tool and the pen tool by creating a path.

using the spot healing brush for removing those really annoying power lines is easy – and in some situations where the background is simple – it can be enough and you can completely remove the line (for example when you have the sky as a background.

However, in other more complex cases where you have a more complex background like the example Ramirez demonstrates in this video you will need a more advanced tool and here you can use the path tool.

A few years back we published a video where Photoshop senior product manager Bryan O’Neil Hughes looked at two advanced techniques for removing objects  such as power lines from images using Adobe Photoshop.
