BBC: Emperor Penguins First Encounter with the PenguinCam

This quick 2 min video promo is part of a remarkable BBC television series called “Penguins – Spy in the Huddle” which was aired on the BBC (and can now be found on DVD) earlier this year.

The series shows penguins as they have never been seen before. From the freezing Antarctic to the scorching tropics using 50 spy cameras which capture unique footage of three extraordinary species. The BBC team created several different robotic PenguinCams that joined to regular group of Penguins and documented their activities in great detail like no human photographer could ever do.
