The video expo IBC 2015 has ended but there are still many interesting things that was announced during the show that we are hoping to bring to you (as we did only yesterday). One of the interesting lighting units which was announced during IBS this year is the Brightcast flexible LED panels which the guys over at Newsshooter had a chance to look at during the show.
Flexible LEDs are nothing new actually – there are quite a few models around from a few different manufacturers. These types of lighting units are very useful as you can place them in places and in ways that traditional LEDs can’t be used.
Here is a quick look at the official specs of this interesting flexible LED panels:
- Battery Powered
- Flexibly Be Shaped in to any Column or Semi-column, stick…
- 23400LUX @ 50cm
- CRI>93
- 3mm thick
- Super Portable
- Varied Accessories
- Stepless Dimming
- Water Proof IP67
What is nice about the the units (called Variable15) is that you can connect several of them together to create a larger LED panel – basically as large as you need it to be and the cost of doing this is much lower than buying a very powerful large LED.
