How to Make a DIY Flexible LED Panel

Matthew Perks is one of our favourite DIYers on Youtube with his channel DIY Perks. On this video he takes a look at creating his own DIY flexible panel – just like the one you can purchase (usually for quite a bit of money) online.

So we have seen quite a few flexible LEDs here on LensVid including the Westcott Flex LED and the Brightcast Variable15 Flexible LED). These cost anywhere from $200-$600.  If you want to do things your own way you can check out this step by step tutorial on how to create a very similar unit of your own with parts that you can quite inexpensively purchase online for well under $50.

Here is a list of some of the main components Perks used in this

Perks already demonstrated how to build a Cool DIY Ring-Light for Just $25 and the Ultimate Super Low Self-Noise DIY Microphone and now he is back showing us how to build a really cool slider for under $40.
