First Look at PAGlink Stacks Up Batteries

NAB 2017 is now open and there seems to be quite a few interesting products to go around. One of the first that cought our eyes are these new type of batteries in either Gold Mount or V-Mount formats which you can easily stack up.

The nice thing about the PAGlink batteries is that it is a digital system comprised of smart linking between the batteries both for powering cameras/lights etc. and for chraging. This means that you can put one, two or even more batteries on your camera to work as long as you want and they are  hot-swappable so if one is dead – you can remove it and put another one in its place.

The same goes for charging – you can put on a dual charger more and more batteries and the charger will just chrage all of the, (probobly up to about 8 at a time). This saves you the need for more expensive chargers and finding more AC points.

There is also a tiny PAGlink Micro Charger which is an extremely small (63 x 57 x 33mm / 75g) and it can be powered from 5V to 20V DC supplies using the USB cable or the vehicle power cable.

As for pricing the PAGlink PAGlink PL96T (14.8V, 96Wh with the digital display) sells for around $625.
