First Look: Samsung’s New 2015 Monitors

Samsung recently announced 3 interesting monitors that might be appealing to photographers with large sizes and high resolution and high color compliance. Mia McCormick from Kelby and B&H did a first look at these three displays with some good pointers.

The first monitor is the Samsung S27D590C 27″ – this is a curved display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 3000:1 Contrast Ratio and 300 cd/m² Brightness. The panel is a Samsung VA however this is probably not the best model for pro photographers (for this you will have to look at the two other monitors announced alongside it). Pricing is set at around $430.
