Handy Accessory – the PixelAddix Grip Reflector

In this video, our colleague photographer and videographer Curtis Judd takes a look at a simple yet very useful little accessory – the PixelAddix Grip Reflector.

We can’t tell you how many times we needed an extra hand to hold a reflector or diffuser and didn’t have one. Now, of course, there are solutions that have been around for years such as the reflector arms, however, they are big and cumbersome and you don’t always want to carry them with you. Another thing is that many of them only fit large reflectors and if you have a small one – you are usually out of luck.

Enters PixelAddix Grip Reflector – this little 5-in-1 reflector solves that problem. It has a tear-drop shape and a nice, solid grip handle with a 1/4-20 tap so you can mount the reflector to a tripod or a light stand and with a ball head for example you can play with the angle and direction of the reflector.

We actually have a different idea on how to use the Grip Reflector which we hope to run by the guys in PixelAddix in the not too distant future and maybe share with you on LensVid later this year.

In the meantime, if you need a new small and portable reflector you can grab the Grip Reflector from Amazon for around $25.
