Square Slider - The Super Extending Slider

Koream manufacturer com.PACT developed an innovative slider called Square Slider which has the ability to extend to more than twice it’s basic length.

If you are looking for a compact slider you can take with you anywhere but still need a relatively long movement, Korean manufacturer com.PACT has a solution based on a moving design.

Here are some details about the the Square Slider (from what we could understand from the part English part Korean com.PACT website):

Self weight – 1.7 kg (3.7 lbs).
Carrying capacity – 3 kg (6.6 lbs).
Length closed – 327mm (12.8 inches).
Max movement – 856mm (33.7 inches).
Price – around $400.

Small size long reach – Square Slider

The Square Slider looks somewhat similar to the design of the Turkish slider made by Edelkrone (which we covered here extensively), however it looks like com.PACT took the basic extending concept a step further than Edelkrone making the unit very compact and highly extendable – the question of course is how stable will a camera be when the slider is extended fully (there is a weight test below but we are looking forward to testing this one ourselves).
