Wescott Peter Hurley’s Flex Light Kit Review

Our colleague Lee Morris from Fstoppers recently received the new Wescott Peter Hurley’s Flex Light Kit and put it under some interesting testing procedures and came back with a number of conclusions.

The original Flex LED by Wescott was a fully bendable 10” x 10” surface with 166 LED diodes weighing only 5 ounces (which you can see in action on this review), since the original introduction larger and more powerful versions have also been introduced and now (actually early in 2016) Wescott is introducing yet another version, this time based on famous photographer Peter Hurley headshot setup which you can watch here (this was the original non Flex Light setup, but the idea is the same).

Here you will be able to find a full list of everything that comes in the Wescott Peter Hurley’s Flex Light Kit (there are a ton of things in this huge kit as you can see in Morris’ video), and the price as yo might expect for such a pro kit isn’t exactly inexpensive (at $5500) but if this is the lighting kit that you need for doing portraits on the go, it might be an investment that will be returned in the future.
