This PBS historical documentary from 1999 look at one of the most famous American photographers – Alfred Stieglitz. Over his 55-year career Stieglitz strived to make photography an accepted art form. Stieglitz was also an important promoter of many other photographers and of artists as well as an avid collection and many believe that he had the most impact on American photography and art than any other person in the first half of the 20’th century.
