PBS: The Beauty of Space Photography

This special and short PBS documentary presents a look into the  beauty and technology behind space photography. How to we end up seeing the magnificent images from outer space – what are all the colors that starts and nebula seem to have and are they “real” or just added to the original data.

The video also asks the question – does space photography needs to be beautiful (after all its first and foremost part of science). What do you think?
