Photographing Yellowstone Like You’ve Never Seen It Before

How do create a unique set of images out of one of the most photographed places in the world? In this National Geographic video, six photographers take the challenge of trying to create something in a place which is one of the most visited and photographed in the U.S. – Yellowstone.

The six photographers who took this challenge are Michael Nichols, David Guttenfelder, Charlie Hamilton James, Erika Larsen, Joe Riis, and Ronan Donovan – each picked their own angle – people living in nature, wild animals, large animals and people, what nature can do to people, wild landscape and more.

Bonus video – another Yellowstone National Geographic video from this series – photographer Ronan Donovan describe the challenge of photographing one of Yellowstone National Park’s most elusive and iconic species: wolves
