On this video, Adobe’s Senior Computer Scientist Max Wendt introduces the new Preview feature in the new Adobe Camera Raw 8.5 and discusses some different ways to use this feature.
Along with the new Photoshop CC 2014 and Lightroom 5.5 announced last week, Adobe also introduced a new version of Camera RAW (for Photoshop CC 2014). which has a new preview feature.
First, you can use the small swap button on the lower right corner of the screen to view the original and the changed version (as well as the changes on the bars on the right). There are several ways of previewing the before and after – one after another, side by side, top/bottom etc. You can toggle between those using the cycle button. You can also decide that you made some changes that you want to keep (instead of going back to the original to compare all the time) so you can use the “copy current settings to before” button.
