This video by photographer Michelle Ford (recorded by slrlounge) gives five useful tips for shooting family portraits. Working with families can be lots of fun but it also brings questions – what to shoot first and how to start, how to get the people involved into the right, open mood to work with you, what poses should you try and how to make every image look as natural as possible and much more.
Ford tries to answer all of these questions and more and bring quite a few examples from her own work.
