Quick Tips for Ski Photography

On this Adorama video photographer and director Corey Rich gives a number of tips for shooting when going skiing.

There some aspects in which shooting ski is not very different than shooting other extreme sports (or even sports in general), however there are some unique challenges to shooting ski which you might want to be aware of before you head to the slopes.

Rich worked for years shooting commercial stills for places such as Tahoe ski resort,  Heavenly, Kirkwood and Northstar and his experience is valuable. On the video Rich explains why great ski photography begins before you’re even on the mountain, what type of equipment works best in these demanding situations, and little lifesavers such as why you should always zip your pack closed and never leave it on while riding a chair lift.
