Edelkrone QuickRelease ONE - The Last Quick Release You Will Ever Need

If you hate using different quick releases, have too many types or too many accessories which require them, innovative Turkish manufacturer Edelkrone recently released a new, and possibly revolutionary new type of quick release that might once and for all eliminate the need for any other system – it is called QuickRelease ONE.

What makes the QuickRelease ONE so special as you can see in the video is that it negates the need for a to part system which consists of a plate and a locking mechanism. Instead it simply clamps down directly to any 1/4″ 20 thread via quick release lever – simple and elegant (at least from the demo video – we are eager to try and see how it actually work ourselves).

The importance of this new product for photographers (if it works as advertised) can’t be overrated – there are so many things that needs to be quickly connected to a 1\4″ 20 screw even beyond cameras and they can all benefit from this option – although if you will need lots of these units for different cameras\accessories – the bottom line can be pretty expensive.
