First Look at the Tenba Cooper Camera Bag

On this quick preview photographer Rafael Concepcion (from Kelby Training) takes a look at an interesting new offering from camera bag manufacturer – Tenba called the Cooper which includes some interesting features both in terms of functionality and design.

The Cooper is actually not a single camera bag but part of a 5 bag series ranging from small (8) all the way down to 15 which can fit a 15 inch laptop). The one Concepcion is looking at on this video is called the Cooper 13 DSLR which as the name implies can hold a 13″ laptop and a DSLR (although Concepcion doesn’t show the bag with gear which is kind of a shame).

The Cooper has some interesting features including special quiet velcro closure for nearly silent operation by pulling down before pulling away from the bag, top zipper allows secure exchange of cameras and lenses without opening the front flap, rain flaps for improved weatherproof coverage and secondary zippered closure inside for additional protection and security.

The bag has a removable padded camera insert which holds a DSLR with 2-4 lenses (up to 70-200mm 2.8) and a flash and a rear padded sleeve which should fit a laptop up to 13 inches and is quick to open for airport security.
