New Lowepro Pro Roller X-Series AW

Lowepro recently introduced an updated version of its its x-Series AW line of extra large roller bags for photographers.

The new rolling camera bags have a hardshell exterior, are water-protected and include clear internal pockets for locating small items such as cables and other accessories. The bags also include TSA approved locks in case you are flying in or to the US.

The updated series includes Pro Roller X100 AW, Pro Roller X200AW and Pro Roller X300AW which differ in weight (from 10.1 lbs. / 4.6 kg on the x100 to 14.6 lbs. / 6.6 kg on the X300) and size (14 x 9 x 19.3 in. / 35.5 x 22.9 x 49 cm for the X100 externally to 17 x 11.6 x 25.4 in. / 43.3 x 29.5 x 64.5 cm on the X300).

In terms of features the new bags have:

Vibration-absorbing wheels (with ABEC-5-rated bearings) for smooth glide and long-lasting durability.
Patent-pending MaxFit System provides maximum capacity and superior protection.

The MaxFit is the most innovative new addition to the bags and is meant to let photographers pack their gear more closely and securely allowing more items to be effectively put into one bag.

As for pricing – this professional rolling camera bag series will cost between $370 (for the X100) and $480 for the large X300 (with the X200 going for $400).
