Joel Grimes Talks to Photographer Kerrick James

On this video photographer Joel Grime talks to  editorial photographer Kerrick James on his work, career and joined background as well as many personal stories.

James takes breathtaking landscape and editorial images. One of the things he is trying to integrate into his landscape images are people – he truly believes that even a small person in an otherwise large landscape image can change that image completely and make you appreciate the place more (by imagining that you were in that place). This is a good lesson and one which might be pretty easy to replicate.

Joel Grimes has been the subject of several videos we published here in the past including: “What Makes a Great Photograph?”, “Why I Use a Tripod“, “Making Superheroes“, “Shooting Active Sports Photography in the Studio” and “Joel Grimes: the Singing Photographer“.
