What’s New in Adobe Lightroom 5.2? (+ Photoshop Photography Program Avaliable for $10/month)

A few hours ago Adobe introduced Lightroom 5.2 together with a new version of Camera Raw (8.2) for Photoshop CC users. The are some bug fixes, new cameras and lens supported (including the Canon G16 and 70D, Fuji X-M1, Sony NEX-5T and more).

Above you can see a video by Laura Shoe demonstrating some of the new Lightroom 5.2 features. You can download Lightroom 5.2 from Adobe.

Adobe also officially introduced today the Photoshop Photography Program which is a subscription based service for photographers which includes Photoshop CC & Lithroom + updates as well as a few other benefits for a relatively affordable $9.99 a month (this price will not change after a year according to Adobe) – the offer is available until the end of 2013.

Finally, here is a cool “bonus” from Adobe. The company recently demonstrated its new hardware project (yes, Adobe is doing hardware now too). Although this is more suited towards designers, architects and alike, it is still a really cool and innovative piece of technology and who knows – maybe next year Adobe will also come up with some interesting accessories for photographers (we certainly have some ideas).

Below you can see a demo of what Adobe is calling project Mighty – basically a new type of triangular stylus with some innovative capabilities which goes along with several apps from Adobe. You can also see an interesting semi virtual ruler called Napoleon. Both are going to be available in the first half of 2014 according to Adobe.
