DJI MINI 3 PRO – Hnads On Review Roundup The mini turns pro

Earlier today DJI introduced a new version of a pro drone in the form of the DJI MINI 3 PRO. This tiny drone will not replace the existing mini but will add a list of more advanced features in an ultra-compact frame.

DJI MINI 3 PRO – The mini goes Professional

The new drone has a new 1/1.3-inch high-resolution 48MP CMOS camera sensor with a dual native ISO. It includes a wide-angle 24mm (equivalent in 35mm) lens with a fast f/1.7 aperture. The drone also includes a 3-axis stabilized module that can record videos in vertical mode. For the stills aspect, users can shoot images in either JPEG or DNG format in a 4:3 aspect ratio at 8064×6048 (48 MP) or 4032×3024 (12 MP).

In video mode users of the DJI MINI 3 PRO can record up to 4K 60p or 1080p 120p at 150Mbps (H.265 or H.264). While the drone is restricted to 8-bit color (unlike some of the higher-end versions) it is capable of D-Cinelike flat video recording profile. You also have 2X digital zoom in 4K and 3X in 2.7K.

Unlike the previous mini-drones, the new Pro version has multi-directional sensors with Tri-Directional obstacle sensing with over 30 min of official flight time.

DJI also introduced a set of 3 ND filters for the new drone – 16/64/256.
