First Look At The Edelkrone Live Mode For SliderPLUS

Turkish manufacturer Edelkrone just introduced a new and very interesting addition to it’s SliderPLUS slider which turns the unit into a powerhouse of multi axis movement photography in real time.

Edelkrone seems to create a super capable system which allows you to mount a camera on its motorized SliderPLUS and using an app mark and than move between several targets with different focusing positions.

This opens so many new possibilities for video makers – instead of relaying on separate focus pullers you can set any number of focus points, mark them in the app (and even take a snapshot with the smartphone camera so that you will remember what that point is and than choose the order of the movements between the points and the speed of the movement.

The Edelkrone system can include all of the necessary components including the SliderPLUS, a motorized part and a set of motors that move the camera vertically and horizontally (head module) and finally a focus module which can do the focus for you in real time.

Finally you have the price for this complete system (with all 3 modules) which sells for around $2600 (that is whiteout the $550-$900 SliderPLUS – depending on the size), not exactly inexpensive, but this capability is truly powerful and there isn’t really anything similar to it in this price range that we know of.
