LOKI – The Super Modular Camera Rig that does it All

Update: Youtube removed the video – you can find it here.

A new crowdsourcing campaign from the British company Scratch Ideas tries to raise money for an innovative camera rig which can turn into a shoulder rig, a cage, and underslung rig and even a dolly.

Loki is the name of the rig which tries to do everything. In many respects it reminds us of the Edelkrone pocket rig 2 but it has some interesting tricks up its sleeve that the Edelkrone doesn’t have.

Loki – one rig to rule them all

Loki

The basic design of the Loki is simple you screw it into a camera’s tripod mount and it can quickly transform into different forms. It is meant to be extremely robust for its size and the entire rig can also be connected to a monopod or tripod.

You can  pre-orders a unit for about 350 pounds / $550, and the unit is expected to ship in early 2016.
