Tips for Shooting the Perfect Beer Bottle

On this video by photographer Lee Morris (co-founder of fstoppers.com) takes a look at the process of shooting a beer bottle just like you see in professional commercial photographs.

The video above was inspired by commercial photographer Rob Grimm who did a recent workshop with the fstoppers guys and shared some of his trade secrets. Actually Girmm did his own version of Shooting the Perfect Beer earlier this year but if you are interested in product photography we feel that it might be worthwhile watching both of them (Moriss did have some good tips to add).

If you are particularly interested in the Fstoppers Flash Disc which Moriss mentions in the video, you can find it on Amazon for under $50.

Morris is fond of doing a behind the scences type of tutorials showing how to shoot different objects. A few years back he demonstrated how to do an amazing shot of luxury watch.

You can find many more product photography related videos on our dedicated product photography on our technique section.
